Clinic Information
We are a referral based sports and exercise medicine clinic based in Penticton, BC. We specialize in providing care for people of all ages and ability levels related to musculoskeletal problems such as joint, ligament, tendon, or muscle injuries. Both of our physicians are fully certified CASEM Sport and Exercise Medicine physicians with postgraduate fellowships in Sport and Exercise Medicine.
Currently, we are accepting referrals for any joint, ligament, tendon, or muscle issues with the exception of spine or chronic pain syndromes.

Our Location
We are located at 353 Winnipeg Street in Penticton, inside the Dale Charles Physiotherapy building.
Our Physicians
Dr Nolan Rau
Dr Nolan Rau
Dr Rau completed his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by family medicine residency at the UBC South Okanagan (Penticton/Summerland) program, and a sports medicine fellowship at UBC. He has a diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM)
He is an avid participant in many sports, with hockey, football, and baseball as his favorites. He grew up in Penticton and is thrilled to be providing sports medicine services to his home town.
He is currently involved in providing care for the Kelowna Rockets (WHL), Penticton Vees (BCHL), Okanagan Hockey Academy (CSSHL) and has previously worked for teams at the KIJHL and USports levels, as well as providing medical coverage for the NHL Youngstars tournament, Ironman Canada Triathlon, and Canada Winter Games as well as many other sporting events.

Dr Thistlewood is a family medicine and sport medicine physician. He completed his sports medicine fellowship in 2022, in Saskatchewan. He has a diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM)
